A vote was held to purchase the Nauta property. Motion was made by Paul Shillington, seconded by Tom Feduk. Motion was passed. G.C. Nichols abstained, as his property was also a choice for the location. This property is the present Nichols subdivision adjacent to the curling club. Building chairman Tom Feduk advised that renovations of the Nauta house would be approximately $12,000 to $15,000 for a clubhouse.
